Horse Riding

We have a excellent horse riding centre in the local area. "Clube Equestre Janas - O Paddock" is to be found deep in the pine wood forest just 2 kms from the village of Praia das Maçãs.

They specialise in show jumping lessons and provide livery and coach a team to a high international standard.

Lessons of all standards and equestrian disciplines are available to book and lessons can be conducted in English if requested.

Also available is guided horse riding. A guided ride will last one hour and they will take you on a fantastic ride though the pine woods down to the beach and back. It's not pony trekking and so basic riding ability is required.
