Bikes for hire

We offer four mountain bikes for hire right here at the cottages, so you don't need to look elsewhere for this service. They are all very good quality and are maintained to the highest standards.

You can ride these bikes around town or, if you wish, go and explore the hill sides or do some off-road riding. Click here to check out some of Sintra's best riding spots.

When you take them out, we'll provide a simple tool kit and a spare inner tube to avoid you having to walk home in the unlikely event of a puncture! All the bikes are also fitted with water bottles for you to refresh yourself en route.

Sarracen Mantra2

Tough yet lightweight alloy frame, with front suspension by Rock Shox, 24 Shimano gears and powerful disk brakes, this bike suits anyone from 5'4 to 6'2.

 

Sarracen Mantra1

This bike shares some of the same characteristics of the above, with a tough yet light alloy frame, front suspension by RST, 21 Shimano gears, powerful disk brakes and suits anyone 4'0 to 5'8.

 

 

Specialized Hardrock

This is a simpler but fully capable off-road bike, with a similar lightweight alloy frame, 21 Shimano gears and powerful Shimano V brakes. Suits 4'0 to 6'0.

 

 

Specialized Rockhopper A1 Comp

This bike features a tough yet lightweight alloy frame, front suspension by Rock Shox, 27 Shimano gears, powerful hydraulic Shimano brakes and optional Shimano clipless SPD pedals (bring your own shoes!) or regular pedals. Suits anyone 5'4 to 6'2.
