Welcome to Lisbon Coast Cottages
Thank you for visiting Lisbon coast cottages from Aber Adventures. We are a husband and wife team owning and managing self catering cottages and larger villas in the Sintra area.
Having been keen bodyboarders ourselves we are very aware of the extra needs of sea sports and are always very flexible and accommodating.
Our 3 beach cottages are just a short stroll from the fantastic beach break of Praia das Maçãs (pictured above), an easy and sheltered sand bottomed break that a is a whole lot of fun all year round.
Our other 2 breaks of Praia Grande/Praia Pequena are also just a short walk away.
The whole coast is lined with fantastic surf spots so no matter what the swell size or direction, you will find a beach to suit.
Our local beaches get a good mention in the Storm Riders Guide; this book describes the breaks of Praia Grande/Praia Pequena as “The most consistent spot in the Lisbon area, and one of the few places protected from summer north winds, this has powerful waves and an infamous shore break. Praia Pequena is the the northern continuation of the same beach with similar characteristics but not so many crowds. The water is some of the cleanest on this part of the coast.”
